Step-by-step guide to add social media links to your Google Business Profile

This makes it easier for your customers to connect with you on all platforms. In this article, we will guide you step-by-step through the process of adding your social media profiles to your Business Profile and take advantage of this new feature.



Step 1: Google your business

The first step is to Google your business to find it in on the search results page. If you are logged into Chrome with the same email address as your Google Business Profile, it will pop up at the top with a whole host of tools to use.




Step 2: Edit profile

Next, click on 'Edit Profile' at the top left of the management panel to start making changes to your profile.



Step 3: Scroll down to the new feature to add social links

As you scroll down, you will see a new feature that allows you to add social links to your profile. Click on 'Add profile' to start adding your social media profiles.




Step 4: Add your social media profiles

You can add up to 7 social media profiles, including LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram. Simply copy and paste the link to your social media profile in the appropriate field. Make sure to double-check and paste accurately to ensure your information is 100% precise.




Step 5: Save!

Once you've added your social media profiles, click on 'Save' to make the changes permanent.




Keep in mind that it usually takes less than 10 minutes for Google to approve your edits. Google wants information on their platform to be accurate and reliable, so they may need to review your edits to ensure that the information you provided is correct.
